Barcelona Summer Transfer Window Recap

This was a busy summer for Barça, with plenty of arrivals and departures

The transfer window is now officially closed and Silly Season is over — until the next transfer rumor, of course. For Barcelona, this was a very busy summer, which sounds strange for the best team in the world, but was actually necessary ahead of this season.

The Catalans need youth, talent and depth, and they got all three. They also needed to get rid of the dead weight, players who just weren't good enough, and they got that too. Sporting director Robert Fernández and his staff did a simply spectacular job, and if everything goes well, the summer of 2016 will have a big impact on the next decade of Barcelona success.

If you're having trouble remembering everything that happened in this transfer window, here's the full list of players signed and sold/loaned by the Blaugrana over the last two months of business:

INS: Jasper Cillessen (Ajax), Samuel Umtiti (Lyon), Lucas Digne (PSG), André Gomes (Valencia), Denis Suarez (Villarreal), Paco Alcácer (Valencia)

Spent: €123 million (Transfermarkt)

OUTS: Claudio Bravo (Manchester City, transfer), Marc Bartra (Borussia Dortmund, transfer), Thomas Vermaelen (Roma, loan), Dani Alves (Juventus, free transfer), Douglas Pereira (Sporting Gijón, loan), Adriano Correia (Besiktas, free transfer), Martin Montoya (Valencia, free transfer), Alex Song (Rubin Kazan, free transfer), Sergi Samper (Granada, loan), Alen Halilovic (Hamburg, transfer), Cristian Tello (Fiorentina, loan), Sandro Ramírez (Málaga, free transfer), Munir El-Haddadi (Valencia, loan)

Earned: €32 million (Transfermarkt)

What do you think of this summer's business, Barça fans? Are you very satisfied or very disappointed with the signings/departures?
