Sergio Busquets has signed a new contract with FC Barcelona that will see him stay at the club until 2021, with an option to further renew until 2023, depending on games played.Joined by Josep Maria Bartomeu, Sergio put pen to paper at the club’s office on Thursday morning. The current third captain of the team has racked up 390 appearances with the first team, with 12 goals, since debuting for Pep Guardiola in the 2008/09 season.
