Valencia sack Pako Ayestaran after less than six months as manager - ESPN FC
Valencia sacked manager Pako Ayestaran on Tuesday after four straight defeats to open the season. Ayestaran was appointed in March to replace Gary Neville, but the poor start to the campaign sealed his fate after Sunday's 2-1 loss at Athletic Bilbao.

Malaga record first victory of the season - ESPN
Malaga secured their first win of the season as they came from a goal down to beat Eibar 2-1 at La Rosaleda. Juande Ramos' men had two points from their opening four LaLiga games and when Nano put Eibar in front three minutes before half-time the writing was on the wall.
