See, there are nice people in Madrid!
Barcelona's next La Liga match is a vital one, as the Catalan giants clash with title challengers Atlético Madrid on Wednesday at Camp Nou in a huge match early in the season that might have implications on the title picture even though it is only the fifth game of the campaign.
The Colchoneros come into the game in great form, having won the last three matches with three clean sheets and scoring 10 goals, which is certainly surprising for a Diego Simeone side always focused on defending first, defending second, defending third, and attacking later.
Every Barça-Atleti game is now must-watch, because the two have become rivals after more than a dozen games against each other over the last two-plus years. It's a friendly rivalry, though, and the Atlético players have been very respectful of the opponent whenever they speak about Barça.
Some of the team's most important players are already comment on Wednesday's game, and once again they didn't come even close to trash-talking the Catalan giants. Here's what Koke, Fernando Torres and Diego Godín had to say:
"This must continue - we haven't done anything yet, we are just starting and now play Barcelona. We need all the enthusiasm in the world to bring back three points. It is a very difficult game against one of the best teams in the world, but we have the desire to compete and win there.
"It has been a very good week with three wins. Our pace is increasing with each game and we are very well prepared physically."

"It's good that all the players can help and also the substitutes. We have a positive dynamic and it is a good moment to play against Barcelona, which is the most complicated rival that we have played in last few years. It's never a good time to play at Camp Nou but it is better to do so when you have confidence.
"We have found a good streak after those two draws [against Alaves and Leganes] and we started well in the Champions League [a 1-0 win over PSV]. Our confidence is high."

"We will have to give 120 per cent concentration because they have very good players. We know the quality Barcelona have and they have shown it over many years. They have a lot of quality up front, a great defence. Barcelona are a great opponent, it's very hard at their stadium, so we are preparing ourselves, resting well, and we will see what we can do at Camp Nou."
