Man of the match? You'll be surprised...
Barcelona are back to the winning ways in La Liga and they did it in exciting fashion, scoring five goals past Sporting Gijón in a highly entertaining game to move to second in the league table, just one point behind Real Madrid. Luis Enrique made rotations and changed tactics to cope with the absence of Lionel Messi, and it worked.
Here are the ratings for each Barça player who took part in the game.
Note: The ratings start at 6.0, and it goes higher or lower depending on the performance. 10 is for Messi, 9.5 is for Lionel, so it'll be tough to see them all the time.
Starters
Ter Stegen (6.5) - Decent game with very little work to do in the final 60 minutes. Great passing again, a hilarious mistake in the first half but nothing too special. Not involved enough to affect his rating. But solid afternoon.
Sergi Roberto (8, Man of the Match) - Sergi is a true revelation and has played incredible football since last season, and no one outplayed him on Saturday. His defense was flawless, his passing and movement were on point, and his crosses made Dani Alves and Cafu proud. What a game.
Gerard Piqué (8) - Fantastic game from Geri. Confidence, positioning, leadership, awareness. All of those qualities were on point, and Piqué will give Roberto a run for his Man of the Match money. Great job, Shakiro.
Jérémy Mathieu (6.5) - Surprisingly good game from Mathieu, thanks in large part to the great performance from his center-back partner. Wasted some silly passes under pressure, but recovered and did well when called into action. Go have a cigarette.
Lucas Digne (6.5) - Jordi Alba has a solid, no nonsense backup. Very serious game from Digne, with almost no mistakes, good going forward and on defense. He isn't a star, but just the competition Alba needed.
Sergio Busquets (7) - Busi had to play a little out of position with another holding midfielder alongside him, but once again he was Busi: just very good. Was replaced in the second half to rest for the Gladbach game, which was nice.
André Gomes (6.5) - Good game from the Portuguese. Looked comfortable all game, always looked to get in good offensive positions and even tried some shots on goal. His job was mainly defensive, though, and he did it well.
Arda Turan (7) - Arda is another player this season, and he's looking very good. Ran like crazy all game, showed some skills and provided a gorgeous assist to Suárez. Well done, Leonidas.
Rafinha Alcântara (7) - Every midfielder was good on Saturday, including Rafa. Scored a smart goal by putting himself in a good position in the box, and contributed with and without the ball throughout the game. Rafinha is finding his form again, which is great news.
Neymar (7.5) - He will run the show without Messi whether you like it or not, and at times he looked really special as the Maestro. He played some great through balls in the first half and scored two goals in the final period to cap off a nice afternoon.
Luis Suárez (7) - Went in, worked hard, scored a goal and complained to the referee. Job done.
Substitutes
Denis Suarez (7) - Played only 20 minutes but passed the ball like Xavi, including a fantastic assist to Neymar's second goal. Denis looks more and more comfortable as a central midfielder, and he'll continue to play there whenever the rotations put him on the pitch.
Paco Alcácer (6) - His bad luck is incredible so far. He should have scored his first goal for the club a few games ago, but a combination of offside calls, well-timed opponent tackes and the crossbar have kept him from finding the back of the net. The goal will come soon enough, though.
