Lionel Messi is from another planet.
The Barcelona superstar made his Copa América Centenario debut as a substitute after 60 minutes in Argentina's second group stage, against Panama at Soldier Field. Replacing Augusto Fernández, Messi came in to regain his fitness and play for the first time after suffering a back injury.
But Messi did not just try to regain his fitness. He took over the whole game.
First, he scored an easy goal after a ball bounced right to him:

Messi wanted to do something special, though. And after finishing his best season at Barça when it comes to scoring from free-kicks, he added to his Argentina tally with a world-class strike:

Want another Messi goal? You got it! The captain finished his incredible scoring night with a mix of skills and strength to fight off the Panama defender and complete his hat-trick:

He took part in the fifth goal as well, finding Marcos Rojo with a spectacular lob before the Argentina full-back assisted Sergio Agüero's score.
If you were afraid that Messi wouldn't be at his best after the injury, you got your answer. He's still not human.
