Javier Tebas has confirmed that La Liga will remain without goal-line technology next season as it "costs too much money". The likes of the Premier League and Serie A have adopted goal-line technology in recent years, but Tebas confessed Spain could not afford to adopt such innovation, despite its status as one of the world’s best Leagues.

Leganes were promoted to the top flight of Spanish football for the first time in their history after winning on the final day of the Segunda Division season on Saturday. Pablo Insua scored with a header following a corner in the 48th minute to give Leganes a 1-0 win at Mirandes to clinch promotion to the Primera Division.

Sevilla will reportedly send Marco Andreolli back to Inter after passing up the opportunity to exercise their purchase option for the injured defender. Andreolli joined Sevilla last summer on a season-long loan, the Andalusians also agreeing a €2.5m fee with Inter to make his stay permanent.
