The Copa América Centenario ends this Sunday with the same final as last year: Argentina and Chile clash again for the South American Cup title, this time at MetLife Stadium, away from the home field advantage that gave the Chileans the title a year ago.
Things are a little different this time: Jorge Sampaoli, the creative and passionate Chile coach is no longer there, and Juan Antonio Pizzi's side is yet to replicate the former coach's entertaining style. Argentina are better, more experienced this time around, and Tata Martino has finally been able to make his talented team play beautiful, efficient football.
Argentina is the best team of the tournament by a mile, and Lionel Messi is a big reason why. The Barcelona superstar has led his men like a true captain and technical reference, and has outplayed the competition en route to a much deserved second straight final. The challenge now is to finally win a title. It has been 23 years since the Albiceleste has won a major tournament in the senior level. They are the best team, with the best player and have all the momentum on their side to win it all. Can they do it?
Messi, Javier Mascherano and Claudio Bravo represent Barcelona here. More importantly, this should be a badass football game, one you should not miss.
