The Euro 2016 group stage is now almost over, and the remaining groups are taking the pitch to determine the sixteen nations that will fight for the title in the knockout rounds.
This Tuesday, eight teams will complete their group stage journey, and a lot of Barcelona players will be taking the pitch. First, though, Group C comes to an end with Germany, Poland and Northern Ireland needing only a point to qualify for the next stage. The Germans are in first place, and should stay there unless Robert Lewandowski goes crazy and gives the Polish a victory against Ukraine. We could see two boring games with three teams looking for a tied score in the end, but who knows with football.
A few hours later, Group D could have an exciting finish. Arda Turan's Turkey need a miracle, but could still find themselves in the Round of 16 if they can beat the Czech Republic. At the same time, Barça's starting midfielders will be on the same pitch for the first time since the Copa del Rey Final: Sergio Busquets and Andrés Iniesta for Spain, and Ivan Rakitic representing Croatia. La Roja have already qualified, but still need a point to secure first place and will face the team that could surpass them in the standings, and Vicente del Bosque certainly wants his team to continue their amazing form displayed in the first two games of the group stage with another victory.
We're in for what could be a fantastic day of European football. You can use the comment section below to comment the matches you're watching. Have fun!
