A Spanish judge has ruled that 211 blood bags collected during the "Operacion Puerto" doping investigation -- which could have links to Spanish football -- should be examined to see if any athletes can be identified, although a statute of limitations means punishment of those found guilty is unlikely.

Chelsea have seen a £32 million bid for Andre Gomes rejected by Valencia, according to Sky Sports. The Liga side are holding out for a fee closer to £42m for the Portugual international due to a clause which will see his former club Benfica pocket 25 per cent of any fee received.

West Ham sign Feghouli | Football Espana
Sofiane Feghouli has left Valencia, signing a three-year contract with Premier League West Ham. The London club’s official website confirms the transfer, with Feghouli, 26, out of contract this summer after six years at Mestalla.

Athletic Bilbao announce friendly against Bordeaux in July
Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday announced that they will play a friendly match against Girondins Bordeaux football club on July 23 in the French town of Tarnos, near Baiona. This is the third preparatory match confirmed by Bilbao before the 2016-2017 season, after the July 20 match against SD Huesca in El Alcoraz, and the July 29 against Sporting Gijon in Leioa, reports Efe, reports Efe.

Watford owner Gino Pozzo has sold Granada to Chinese firm Link International Sports. Jiang Lizhang, the owner of Link International Sports, becomes the majority shareholder of the Spanish club after the €37m takeover. The Pozzos, who helped take Granada into the top flight after buying the club in 2009, will now concentrate on running Udinese and Watford.
