Everybody loves the kid!
The love for Munir El-Haddadi keeps on coming from everywhere after the 18-year-old prodigy got selected for Spain's main squad to play against Macedonia on Monday. This time, it was his former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas that gave him a lot of praise in a press conference.
Here's what Cesc said:
"Everything happened pretty fast for Munir, and everyone said good things about him. From what I've seen in just a couple of training sessions here, he is really good. He doesn't feel the pressure, he feels good around his Barça teammates, everyone gave him a warm welcome, and he already feels he's a part of the squad, which is good.
He is something special, really. He plays well on the wing or the center, he has great awareness, he moves well between the center-backs, he is great at finding space, just like Paco Alcácer. They're both fast, and they move really well. And most importantly, they're young. When you have players like that looking for chances, you need to use them in the national team, so they can get experience to help us later."

It might be too early to rate Munir so high, it can hurt him in the future. But if his mind is in the right place, he can become a superduperstar. Let's give him time.
Munir could make his debut for La Roja on Monday, when Spain takes on Macedonia in Valencia.
