Spain 5, Macedonia 1 - The boys are back!

Wow, just wow.

Before I say anything, let me scream from the top to the bottom of my lungs: SERGIO BUSQUETS SCORED A GOAL!!! S-E-R-G-I-O B-U-S-Q-U-E-T-S S-C-O-R-E-D A G-O-A-L !-!-!

Okay, let's talk about the match. It was a very pleasant surprise to watch Spain completely dominate the opposition, and especially, score five goals. They had a little slip when Juanfran commited an ugly penalty that gave Macedonia some hope. But, very quickly, La Roja came back and increased their intensity. Pedro joined Sergio Busquets as the Barcelona players who started the match, and both of them played really well.

Sergio Ramos, Paco Alcácer, Busquets, David Silva and Pedro were the goalscorers for Spain. Especially Silva shined bright, guided his team and was definitely the man of the match. Cesc Fàbregas and Koke also played well, showing that they could be great candidates to replace Xavi going forward.

And finally, Munir El-Haddadi. The anticipated debut of the 19-year-old Barça prodigy happened in the 77th minute. Munir did well in his 15 minutes on the pitch, moving well and showing a lot of effort on defense. He had one goal attempt, and it was his only offensive participation. Still, for a youngster, it was a good showing. Let's hope he gets more chances.

It was only Macedonia. Spain had a lot of trouble against a stronger opponent -- France -- but they showed signs that they're climbing back to the top.
