Barça likes the idea.
We are 50 days away from Luis Suárez's debut with Barcelona. He's already doing great at training, but he's eager to get on the pitch and play a competitive match. And he will get his chance.
The Uruguay national team is planning to call Suárez for their next two friendlies, against Saudi Arabia and Oman, on October 10 and October 13. That will give Luisito a much needed taste in competition. Uruguay has already consulted FIFA, and they have approved the team's intention. Suárez is banned for the next eight international games with his NT, but he can play friendlies in FIFA dates, according to the ruling of the Court of Arbitration for Sport, that decided to uphold his four-month ban, but allowed him to train with Barça and play non-official matches with both the club and the national team.
Luisito already played in the Joan Gamper Trophy, and he will get two more opportunities to play competitive games. Barcelona is reportedly very happy with Uruguay's intention, and coach Luis Enrique is thankful that Suárez will be close to form. His debut for Barça couldn't be a harder one, as his first game will be at Santiago Bernabéu, in the Clásico against Real Madrid.
