Two of the biggest!
Pedro Rodríguez is not what he once was. Under Pep Guardiola, the winger was a beast, who showed great work-rate and goal-scoring ability. Since the most successful coach in Barcelona's recent history departed, Pedro's greatness went away, also. He has not been able to replicate what made him great for a few years now, and rumors about him leaving Barça can't stop growing.
And according to multiple reports from Italy, Spain and England, Pedro has caught the eye of three big European clubs. The interest from Juventus is not a recent one. La Vecchia Signora has formally expressed their desire to sign the player in the past, but Barcelona always said no to any offers. Now, two and a half months away from the January transfer window, it's possible that the Blaugrana might say yes to an offer for Pedro. And the list of candidates doesn't include only Juventus.
The Daily Express is one of the outlets reporting that Arsenal and Liverpool want to enter the race for Pedro in the beginning of 2015. Arséne Wenger, manager of the Gunners, wants to replicate at the Premier League a successful duo from Barça, since he's already bought Alexis Sánchez this summer.
Brendan Rodgers, the boss of the Reds, sees Pedro as the final piece to improve his squad, since Liverpool is now looking at two tough competitions in the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. Having quality backups for Mario Balotelli and Raheem Sterling is essential for a long run in both fronts, and that's what the coach wants with the addition of Pedro.
We'll keep an eye on this story. We don't have any reliable sources reporting on this yet, but with the rumors growing, it's possible that we have an update soon.
Right now, do you think Pedro should leave, Barça fans? Is Luis Enrique misusing him? Does he deserve more minutes at Barça or a move elsewhere is a good career move? Talk away!
