No more Barça at the top. Well, sort of.
The fifth round of La Liga came to a close with surprising results and big blowouts. Also, we've got a new leader. Valencia sits now at the top of the Spanish world, dethroning Barcelona to take the first spot in the standings. The difference is only in the number of goals scored, but still, Barça are not the leaders anymore. It could change on Saturday, but this is the current situation.
Some more bad news for the Blaugrana: because of the disappointing draw against Málaga, Barça's edge over Real Madrid and Atlético de Madrid is smaller now. Sure, it's only the beginning of the season, and the difference between the three shouldn't be huge anyway, but it's worth noting.
