The Catalans want an influx of cash

Barcelona is looking to bring in a big cash influx and will attempt to finish sales before the end of the end of the month, according to a new report. The Catalans’ first thought is Philippe Coutinho. They are looking to sell him at a cheap price, even as low as 70 million euros plus around 20 million in add-ons, hoping a buyer will bite. The Premier League is thought to be the most likely destination, although it seems teams are mainly interested in a loan option.

There’s another sale being pondered, that of Jean-Clair Todibo. He, like Coutinho, plays on loan in the Bundesliga. There is a rumor that an offer from Everton valued at 20 million plus an additional five in add-ons is very likely to be accepted, although there could be a team with a better offer somewhere else that could steal the player away if they wanted to.

Todibo plays on loan to Schalke 04 from Barcelona, although his recent performances have not gotten rave reviews. Neither has Coutinho set the world on fire with Bayern Munich. Speaking of the Brazilian, it seems like a proposed return to Liverpool has disappeared as well. One other possible exit is his compatriot, Neto. Rumor has it that Barcelona will accept an offer for him that’s valued over 20 million if the keeper wants to leave.
