Can the Blaugrana reach another Cup final?
There's no denying that Barcelona have absolutely dominated Spanish football over the past decade. Since the Frank Rijkaard days, the Blaugrana started to win one domestic trophy after another, and the Pep Guardiola Era cemented the Catalan giants' place in the Spanish football scene.
Luis Enrique came, and things haven't changed. In his first two seasons, Enrique led Barça to two La Liga and two Copa del Rey titles in dominant fashion, and the Catalans are the Kings of Spain right now. Winning the league this season seems like a small possibility, but it's still a possibility. Winning the Cup, though, that is a realistic target.
First because Celta Vigo and Deportivo Alavés are in the other semifinal, and while both are good teams, they'll be underdogs in a Final against the defending champions; second, because Barça beat Atlético Madrid 2-1 at the Vicente Calderón in the first leg, and two away goals are a giant advantage coming into the second leg at the Camp Nou.
The semifinals aren't done yet, and Atlético can still pull off the upset because they're a really good team. Barça are still the favorites, however, and they'll be looking to reach another final and maintain their dominance in Spain by winning the Cup.
