Barcelona's next Champions League opponent was nice to Leo Messi, and he noticed it

This is really nice

Borussia Mönchengladbach are getting ready to entertain Barcelona next Wednesday in a big Champions League game, and they are sad about the world's best player not visiting Borussia Park.

Lionel Messi sustained a groin injury in the La Liga match against Atlético Madrid, and the Argentine forward was ruled out for three weeks, meaning he will not return to action until after the international break. Because of that, Leo will not play against Gladbach, and the German club is not really happy about it.

The Gladbach Twitter is one of the best follows you can have (seriously), and their Messi tweet was very good:

Seriously, they think it's a shame that Messi won't face them. Most teams would be celebrating, but Gladbach think it's a shame. That's nice.

The best part about this, though, came from Messi himself, who took to Facebook to thanks the fans for their messages, and also thanked Gladbach for their gesture:

¡Muchas gracias al Borussia Mönchengladbach por el mensaje de ánimo! Un gran detalle de su parte. Y por supuesto también...

This is so cool! Football needs more of this.
