Sevilla FC 2-0 Real Betis - ESPN FC
Sevilla defeated rivals Real Betis for the third time this season with a 2-0 win at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. Second-half goals from Kevin Gameiro and substitute Andujar Coke gave Unai Emery's team a first La Liga victory in six outings.

Villarreal and Real Sociedad play out goalless draw - ESPN FC
Villarreal failed to tighten their grip on the fourth Champions League spot in the Primera Division after being held to a goalless draw at home to Real Sociedad. Athletic Bilbao's draw with Levante earlier in the day gave Marcelino's side the chance to open up an eight point gap over the Basques in fifth but they remain six ahead with three games remaining; now without a win in their last three league games. Real Sociedad are 12th.

Getafe 2-2 Valencia - ESPN FC
Relegation-threatened Getafe did little to boost their Primera Division survival hopes as they were held to a 2-2 draw at home to Valencia. All the goals came in an entertaining second half and the hosts led after Alvaro Medran and substitute Stefan Scepovic scored to usurp the advantage given to Valencia by former Getafe midfielder Dani Parejo.

Levante 2-2 Athletic Bilbao - ESPN FC
Levante are on the brink of relegation after throwing away a two-goal lead late on to draw 2-2 at home to Athletic Bilbao. Victor Casadesus put the hosts in front after 13 minutes and Xabier Etxeita's own goal in the 67th looked to have sealed victory for the struggling Valencia club which would have boosted their chances of survival.
