FC Barcelona News: 25 October 2015: Enrique Calls For Investigation Into Matchfix Scandal, Barça B Win Again

A round-up of today's Barça news

The blaugranes face Eibar on Sunday at 6.15pm CET at Camp Nou with Luis Enrique’s side looking for their third consecutive victory in all competitions after recent wins over Rayo Vallecano in the league and BATE Borisov in the Champions League. The visitors, however, will not make it easy for them with José Luis Mendilibar’s team unbeaten on the road so far this season.
Luis Enrique has announced his 18-man squad for Sunday's visit of Eibar, who are as follows: Ter Stegen, Bravo, Douglas, Piqué, Rakitic, Busquets, Dani Alves, Suárez, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sandro, Adriano, Vermaelen, Mathieu and Gumbau.
FC Barcelona's match against Eibar on Sunday at Camp Nou will see the introduction of a new ball due to the approach of winter and the reduced daylight. The Nike Ordem 3 Hi-Vis features a seasonally optimized color scheme that adds adapted visual acuity to Nike’s most advanced football ever. The bold Visual Power Graphic emblazoned on the Ordem 3 receives a Hi-Vis Yellow update, allowing players to catch sight of the ball quickly, helping to enable rapid decision-making and immediate reaction in the ever-accelerating sport of football.
Luis Enrique spoke to the press at the Ciutat Esportiva after the final training session before Sunday’s game with Eibar. "They are a dangerous side and very clear about they have to do" he said about an opponent that has got its campaign off to a very solid start indeed. "It’s the same kind of difficulty we expect from any side we play, but they’re in especially good form and haven’t lost away from home this season. It’s an important challenge for us. People are asking about clean sheets, but for me the most important thing is just to make sure we win the game."
Barça B have beaten Lleida Esportiu thanks to the only goal of the game scored by Maxi Rolón. The Argentine’s strike and the concentration in defence shown by Gerard López’s side were key in picking up three points which allow the B side to continue to climb up the table.
This Saturday 24 October marks 70 years since the United Nations was created, and FC Barcelona has played its part in the Turn the World UN Blue project to illuminate more than 160 buildings around the world in the colour that symbolises the organisation.
Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola denies that Paul Pogba's move from Juventus to Barcelona is finalised, even though in England there are hints to the contrary. The player's agent told Radio Deejay: "It's not true, whoever wants him will have to sit down with Juventus, and later we'll see. In the summer there were three or four teams interested, but he prefered to stay at Juventus."
Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has called for an investigation into claims an assistant referee was told to favour Real Madrid in November's El Clasico. The unnamed official made the claims in a document presented to anti-corruption authorities in Spain. Barca boss Enrique said: "It isn't nice, so I hope it's fully investigated to avoid any risk to our football."
