The midfielder could be set for a late move
Barcelona are reportedly in “advanced talks” with Besiktas over a loan move for unwanted midfielder Miralem Pjanic.
Turkish outlet A Spor appear to have been first with the news of a possible loan for Pjanic, while Fabrizio Romano also reckons it’s almost a done deal.
Here’s the update from Romano:
Besiktas and Barcelona are in advanced talks for Miralem Pjanic. The agreement is now close between clubs - negotiations ongoing on personal terms/salary for potential loan. Besiktas are trying and pushing. #Besiktas #FCB #transfers

Pjanic has been linked with a move away from Barcelona all summer long. The midfielder barely played in his first season at the Camp Nou and had expected to return to Italy.
Yet despite all the rumors, a return to Serie A failed to materialize before the transfer window closed late on Tuesday.
However, it seems obvious Barca still want to get the 31-year-old off the wage bill, while Pjanic must know he faces another season on the bench if he stays at the Camp Nou.
The midfielder is currently on international duty and played all 90 minutes of Bosnia-Herzegovina’s 1-1- draw with France in World Cup qualifying.
