The Belgium boss has had his say
Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has been asked about speculation he could replace Ronald Koeman at Barcelona but didn’t really want to talk about the issue.
The 48-year-old said there is “nothing” for him to comment on and did his best to brush off rumors he’s emerged as the favorite for the job.
“Well as you can imagine there is nothing, nothing to comment for me,” he said.
“When you lose three games the rumours are that you are going to lose your job.
“When things are going well, you are doing good results, the rumours will always be there, but it’s nothing for me to comment on at this point.”

Reports on Wednesday have suggested that Martinez and Xavi are the top two names on Barca’s list of potential candidates.
Diario Sport reckon Barca president Joan Laporta even spoke to Martinez over the summer but the coach was focused on Euro 2020 with Belgium. The report also reckons Laporta would rather Xavi took over Barca B before becoming first-team coach.
