The president is still calling for calm

Barcelona president Joan Laporta has sent another message to supporters in the wake of Monday’s 1-1 draw with Granada.

Laporta took to social media after the defeat against Bayern Munich to call for calm and ask supporters for some patience.

The 59-year-old’s now been at it again with another video message where he once again tells supporters not to worry because everything is going to be just fine.

Here’s what Laporta’s had to say this time:

“Hello, Barcelona fans. I ask you to keep supporting our team,” he said.

“The team needs you, and [they are] thankful to you. You know we are experiencing a difficult time and these are the moments when you need to stand by us.

“This week, a Barcelona delegation is going to the Palos de la Frontera to a supporters’ club event, which coincides with the match in Cadiz.

“In Cadiz, you can be sure that the team will try to win.

“I don’t know what will happen, but no matter what, in the next match against Levante this week, keep supporting our team. The team needs it.

“And try to remain calm, we know what needs to be done and we will sort it.

Barcelona head to Cadiz after needing a last-minute equalizer from Ronald Araujo to rescue a draw against Granada. The draw has placed even more pressure on Ronald Koeman with reports claiming Laporta is now busy looking for a replacement for the Dutchman.
