The teenager’s in the squad to face Levante
Ansu Fati is finally set to make his long-awaited comeback from injury for Barcelona after over 10 months out with a knee injury.
The 18-year-old has not featured since Barca’s 5-2 win over Real Betis in November 2020 but has declared himself “ready” to return.

It’s been a really tough time for Fati who suffered a series of setbacks after his initial surgery and ended up going under the knife yet again in May 2021.
However, the teenager is finally fully fit, available for selection and has been named in Ronald Koeman’s squad to face Levante on Sunday.

It’s thought that all being well Fati will get some game time at the Camp Nou off the bench and will wear the iconic No. 10 shirt for the first time since taking over from Lionel Messi.
Ronald Koeman confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Ansu will play a “maximum of 15 minutes” and the club will refuse to take any risks with the youngster.
Fati’s return will be a big boost to the club during a tough time and with a host of other players still out injured and unavailable for Sunday.
Jordi Alba and Pedri are likely to be next to return but the likes of Sergio Aguero and Ousmane Dembele are still thought to be some weeks away from first-team action.
