A new number for Nico Gonzalez
Barcelona confirmed the squad numbers for Sergi Barjuan’s B team on Thursday after the close of the transfer window.
There are some more than familiar faces on the roster. Goalkeeper Inaki Pena, who also has a first-team number, takes No. 13, Nico Gonzalez is the new No. 6 and Jandro Orellano will wear the No. 16.

Newly-signed loanee striker Ángel Rodado has taken the No. 9, while fellow new-boy Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, known as Abde, has been handed the 20.
There are also a few other changes for the new campaign. The team’s new No. 7 is Peque, highly-rated Lucas de Vega is the No. 10 and Nils Mortimer is No. 11.
Kays Ruiz, who is back at Barcelona after a stint with PSG, takes over the No. 14 and Antonio Aranda, another summer signing, is Barca B’s new No. 19.
There are also a few notable absentees. Alex Collado is not listed, has no first-team number either, and it’s not quite clear what will happen with the 22-year-old.
Gavi and Alejandro Balde are also not listed. Mundo Deportivo says it’s because they’re still part of Juvenil A, Diario AS think Koeman wants both players for the first team.
Barjuan’s side have already started off their new campaign. The team opened up with a 1-1 draw against Algeciras despite seeing Arnau Comas sent off in the second half.
Barca B are in action again this weekend with a short trip down the coast to Nastic on Sunday.
