Barcelona planning gold away kit for 2022-23 - report

The first few details have emerged

Barcelona are reportedly planning on having a gold away kit for next season which will reportedly be similar to kits used by the club in the early 2000s.

The update comes from the usually reliable Footy Headlines who, disappointingly, don’t have any details on the design just yet but are confident the shirt “will have a gold base color.”

Barcelona used gold away kits in 2001-02 and 2003-04 and it now looks like a case of third time lucky for the Catalan giants as preparations for next year continue at the Camp Nou.

Footy Headlines have already leaked designs of the home shirt for next season which will use narrow vertical stripes in three different colors. It’s a big change from this season’s effort which features a design based on the club’s crest and half and half shorts.
