The midfielder picked up the problem against Switzerland
Spain have offered an update on Sergio Busquets’s knee injury after the Barcelona midfielder was forced off in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Switzerland.
The 32-year-old has suffered a mild ligament sprain and will stay with the national team for now but will undergo an MRI scan on Monday to determine the severity of the problem.

Spain are due to play Germany on Tuesday in the Nations League but there seems no chance that Busquets will feature in that game.
The midfielder also looks a doubt for Barca’s upcoming fixtures too, particularly Saturday’s trip to Atletico Madrid in La Liga.
Barca then face games against Dynamo Kiev, Osasuna, Ferencvaros and Cadiz. If Busquets does miss out it seems likely Miralem Pjanic will replace him in the starting XI.
