Messi & Ter Stegen up for FIFA The Best Awards

It’s that time of year again

The end of an extraordinary year is fast approaching which means the nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020 have been announced.

The ceremony is due to take place on December 17 and there are a couple of Barcelona players involved.

Captain Lionel Messi is up for The Best Men’s Player Award and is on the 11-man shortlist.

Goalkeeper Marc-Andre Stegen is has also been shortlisted and is among the nominees for The Best Men’s Goalkeeper Award.

There’s also a Barcelona goal up for the prestigious Puskas Award, Luis Suarez’s brilliant backheel against Real Mallorca has been nominated.

Barcelona Femeni also have some contenders for the top awards. Jennifer Hermoso is up for The Best FIFA Women’s Player, while boss Lluis Cortes has been nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Coach.
