The club are still short of defensive options
Barcelona defender Ronald looks unlikely to make his return from injury against Osasuna at the weekend although he is close to making a comeback.
The Uruguayan has been out since the Champions League win over Juventus with a hamstring problem but was out on the training pitch on Friday.
Barca confirmed Araujo undertook “specific work,” while Sergio Busquets took part in the whole session with the group.
Gerard Romero reckons Araujo may have to wait until next week to return but there’s a chance we might see Busquets back against Osasuna.

Araujo sigue a parte del grupo. No llega al domingo. Próxima semana disponible

The update means that Ronald Koeman still just has one senior center-back available for Sunday’s game and increases the chances of Oscar Mingueza keeping his place in the backline alongside Clement Lenglet.
Barcelona’s final training session before the match is on Saturday morning, and we’ll then likely get an update on injuries afterwards when Koeman holds his pre-match press conference.
