The last La Liga game before the international break

Barcelona play Real Betis at the Camp Nou on Saturday in their final game before the last international break of 2020.

The Catalan giants really need a win after managing just two points from their last 12 in La Liga and head into the match after an unconvincing performance against Dynamo Kiev.

Ronald Koeman will be expecting more from his side both in attack and defence and could make changes to his team again for Saturday’s match.

Let’s look at who could feature:

Defence

Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen was back in midweek and in superb form in the Champions League which means he’s likely to continue in goal for this one.

Clement Lenglet should return to the starting XI after being left out against Dynamo Kiev and replaced in the team by Frenkie de Jong.

Sergino Dest and Jordi Alba look good bets to play at full-back, although Sergi Roberto is also an option for Koeman.

Midfield

Miralem Pjanic will be hoping to make his first La Liga start for Barcelona on Saturday for the visit of Betis. The midfielder started in midweek but was hauled off after an hour.

De Jong should return in midfield after a stint as a center-back, while it will be interesting to see whether Koeman opts to start Sergio Busquets after some feeble displays.

Attack

Lionel Messi has played every single minute for club and country so far and it would be a big surprise if Koeman decided to rest his captain now.

One man who might not feature is Antoine Griezmann. The Frenchman is having a tough time and missed another golden chance in midweek against Dynamo Kiev.

Ansu Fati looks certain to start after another bright showing in midweek, while Pedri, Ousmane Dembele, and Francisco Trincao will also be hoping to get the nod.

Possible XI: Ter Stegen; Dest, Pique, Lenglet, Alba; Pjanic, De Jong; Dembele, Messi, Fati; Griezmann.
