It’s a Christmas gossip special

Barcelona & Real Madrid both want Marcus Rashford

Today’s rumors start with a real Christmas cracker from the Sunday Express who have come up with the idea that Barcelona fancy Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.

Apparently some “bosses” at the Camp Nou have compiled a “dossier” on Rashford who is also wanted by Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Rashford’s future at Old Trafford is described as being “far from secure,” and the report reckons he could consider moving on if he doesnt “kick on” under new boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Barcelona monitoring Borussia Dortmund sensation Jadon Sancho

Also on Barcelona’s radar is Borussia Dortmund’s teenage sensation Jadon Sancho who is making waves in the Bundesliga this season.

So much so that Marca reckon Barcelona and Real Madrid are both keeping a very close eye on the England international.

Barcelona to pay Rabiot €10m signing bonus

Over in France, Telefoot are reporting that Adrien Rabiot will reject interest from Chelsea, Tottenham and Juventus to sign for Barcelona.

Rabiot will sign a pre-contract with Barcelona in January, and the Spanish champions will hand him a cool €10 million signing bonus.

Maxi Gomes to replace Luis Suarez at Barcelona?

Back in Spain and Barcelona kept a close eye on Maxi Gomez during their 2-0 win over Celta Vigo on Saturday night.

According to AS, Barcelona want a striker who has similar qualities to Suarez and Gomes fits the ball.

The report quotes a Camp Nou ‘source’ as saying: “He is a very good player and always has his eye on the opposition goal. He knows how to move well, he’s quick despite his build, he links up well and makes himself available to his teammates and isn’t afraid to have a shot.”

Munir negotiations not progressing well

And finally today we end up with an update on Munir’s future. The striker is expected to stay until the end of the season but contract talks are not progressing well.

The two parties are said to be far apart in their negotiations over a renewal, according to Mundo Deportivo.

They are plenty of clubs said to be interested in Munir, and if an agreement can’t be found he will leave for free next summer.
