The boss is not afraid of the Spanish champions
Lyon boss Bruno Genesio says his team will face a tough draw against Barcelona in the Champions League but reckons his team can pull off an upset.
Les Gones have already secured some good results in the competition this season, most notably beating Manchester City 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium in the group stage.
They have players who have been attracting interest from around Europe, including Nabil Fekir, Tanguy Ndombele, Ferland Mendy and Houssem Aouar, and Genesio feels his team have already shown their quality in the competition.
“One of the toughest draws. We’ll deal with it,” he said.
“We’re capable of an upset. The matches against Manchester City showed what we’re capable of.”

The game will also see Samuel Umtiti face his former team. The France defender joined Barcelona from Lyon in 2016, and he’ll be hoping he’s fit for the tie.
