Barcelona rumours: Semedo & Romeu in, Gomes offered to Madrid & Inter want Lucho

The rumour mill has gone into overdrive and we have them all right here

Man City to rival Barca for Semedo

Barcelona’s hunt for a right-back is showing no sign of slowing with O Jogo claiming the club want Benfica defender Nelson Semedo, but he is a man in demand.

Bayern, Inter and Manchester United also want the 23-year-old and have been joined by Manchester City with Txiki Begiristain in attendance at Juventus’ Champions League clash with Monaco along with Benfica president Luís Filipe Vieira. Now what on earth were they talking about?

Robert Fernandez, meanwhile, is a known admirer of Semedo but is believed to prefer a move for Bellerin with the feeling he could adjust to life at Barca more quickly.

Romeu to return to Camp Nou?

Not content with trying to lure Hector Bellerin and Gerard Deulofeu back to Camp Nou, Barcelona also want Oriol Romeu and have been in touch to let him know.

Marca claim the club are desperate to bring in an extra body in midfield to act as back-up to Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta and Romeu fits the bill.

The 26-year-old has been a regular for Southampton this season but could just find a return to Spain too tempting to turn down.

Mendes offers Gomes to Real Madrid

Super agent Jorge Mendes has been offering Andre Gomes around Europe, and has even mentioned him to Real Madrid, according to the super unreliable Don Balon.

Los Blancos were interested in the Portugal midfielder last summer, before he opted to move to Camp Nou, with Barca willing to allow him to leave after just one season.

Rafinha to leave this summer?

Rafinha is considering leaving Barcelona this summer but the club will only sell him if they receive offers in the region of €30-40 million, according to Sport.

The Brazilian is wanted by clubs in England and Italy and feels he needs to leave in search of regular football, ahead of World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Luis Enrique wanted by Inter

Luis Enrique may only have a few weeks left at Barcelona, but he could be back in gainful employment very soon, according to AS.

The Barca coach is being eyed by Inter as a replacement for Stefano Pioli who was sacked by the San Siro side this week.

Director of sport, Walter Sabatini is keen on Enrique and wants to open talks with the 47-year-old as soon as possible.

Samper the only Barca loanee to stay

Barcelona are happy to sell players who have been on loan with season with Munir, Thomas Vermaelen, Cristian Tello and Douglas all on their way out this summer.

Sport say the only player who could have a future at Camp Nou is Sergi Samper, despite a fairly dismal season at Granada.
