Manchester United have announced the signing of Víctor Valdés on an eighteen month contract until June 2016. The 32-year –old keeper will again link up with ex-Barça boss Louis Van Gaal who gave him his debut in 2002. Valdes had a successful 12 year spell with the first team after joining the Masia in 1995.

Celta snap up Belgian starlet | Football Espana

Celta Vigo have completed the signing of Theo Bongonda from Zulte-Waregem on a four-year contract. The 19-year-old attacker is the Galicians’ first piece of business in the January transfer window and joins for a fee reportedly in the region of €1m. Bongonda, a left-footed forward known for his pace, represents Belgium at Under-21 level and made 33 Pro League appearances for the Essevee.
