Hey you! Yes, you! Have you ever wanted to become a writer for your favourite Barça blog? Well, as luck would have it we have a few openings -- what are you waiting for, apply now!
FC Barcelona might be under a transfer embargo, barred from registering new players until January 2016, but thankfully no such restrictions have been placed on Barça Blaugranes and as always, we're on the look-out for new talent to contribute to this wonderful community. The application process is simple and with our criteria listed below, what are you waiting for? If you've ever wanted to become a writer for your favourite Barça blog, here's your chance!
To apply, simply send an email to both myself at aduckling1[at]gmail[dot]com and to Bostjan at bostjan[dot]cernensek[at]gmail[dot]com stating your interest in a role with the site. We've been part of the Barça Blaugranes team almost from it's inception in October 2010, so we'll outline the selection process and answer any questions you might have about becoming a contributor.
As before, you don't even need to be a regular member of the community to apply, however as a baseline we are looking for a couple of key skills and attributes from our potential recruits:
- A good knowledge of the English language is needed; of course, all the while myself and Bostjan will be available to work with you, proof-reading your content before publish
- Enthusiasm! Whether you love FC Barcelona or La Liga or football, or even writing in general, we want to see your passion reflected in the content of your articles and in the quantity of your posts. As a minimum, we are looking for people to contribute at least one post per fortnight, but preference may be given to applicants willing to post more frequently
The application window will remain open until the 1st February, and everybody that emails us to declare an interest will receive a response from either myself or Bostjan where we will go over the details of the process. Every prospective contributor will then have two weeks to show us why he/she should be made a part of this fantastic team. Still not sold? Here's what we can offer you:
