It's a good time to be a Barcelona fan, player and coach. The club keeps on winning, on and off the pitch, with the FIFA Awards last Monday giving the Blaugrana some silverware for their 2015 performances. Four players were part of the Team of the Year, coach Luis Enrique won Best Coach and Lionel Messi got his fifth Ballon d'Or.
Now it is time to prove why this is such a decorated team. The Blaugranes take the field on Wednesday to try and qualify for the Copa del Rey quarter-finals in the second leg of the Round of 16 against local rivals Espanyol. After a battle that turned into a 4-1 win for the Camp Nou giants last week, even a two-goal loss is enough to see Barça through.
This was supposed to be an easy game, but because of last Wednesday's madness, this is a match full of tension and nervous energy. The Espanyol crowd will be fired up and the players might get crazy, and the Barça talent will have to up their intensity as well. Should be a great game, and you must not miss.
