The defender was sent off against Ferencvaros
Barcelona enjoyed a great start to their Champions League campaign with a 5-1 win over Hungarian champions Ferencvaros on Tuesday but it wasn’t all good news for Ronald Koeman’s side.
Gerard Pique was sent off after 68 minutes of the game at the Camp Nou for a last-man foul and will now be suspended for next week’s trip to Turin.

It’s a big blow for Barcelona ahead of what could be a crucial game in deciding which team tops Group G. Juventus opened up their campaign with a 2-0 win over Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday.
Ronald Araujo is expected to replace Pique and partner Clement Lenglet in the heart of the defence. The Uruguayan has already filled in for the suspended Lenglet against Sevilla but is likely to face a tougher test in Turin.
