There are no legal or health-related reasons that stand in the way of the votre

The Catalan government reportedly has said that there are no legal or health-related concerns that would block FC Barcelona’s presidential recall vote, meaning club members should be allowed to vote whether to remove Josep Maria Bartomeu as club president.

However, it is said that the club itself is dragging its feet in terms of the voting process.

The Catalan government has given the go-ahead for the vote to take place on October 31st and November 1st, but the club seems to be pushing for it to take place on November 15 and 16.

If two-thirds or more of members agree, Bartomeu would be forced out. This comes after a successful signature drive which triggered the recall vote.
