The 17-year-old says ‘two very beautiful games are coming’
Ansu Fati is hoping to keep his place in Ronald Koeman’s starting XI for crunch games against Real Madrid in La Liga and Juventus in the Champions League.
The 17-year-old scored his fourth goal of the season against Ferencvaros, becoming the youngest player to score two goals in the Champions League.
Fati spoke after the match about how he’s longed to play in El Clasico, although he knows there is stiff competition for places.
“I hope I can play El Clásico, I’ve always dreamed of it,” he said.
“It is good for the team that the attacking players are playing well because the more competition there is, the better we will all be.
“Each one has to continue working and improving day by day, and it is the coach who decides who plays, and if it is not your turn to play, you have to continue training hard so that you get the chance
“Two very beautiful games are coming that I have always dreamed of playing and hopefully I can have the opportunity to do so.”
