Messi unhappy with Deulofeu chase?

There's a shocker...

Gerard Deulofeu has rejuventated himself as a player, ever since his loan move to Serie A giants AC Milan; the versatile forward has been an important cog in Montella's young squad, operating from the left flank.

The meteoric rise of the Spanish forward has led to his inclusion in the national team, and if things play out as they seem, then the winger should be a part of the squad next season.

The Barça board has confirmed that they are interested in bringing back the former La Masia player by exercising their buy-back. However, reports suggest that Deulofeu remains sceptical of his chances in the Barça squad, and wants sporting assurances, before he commits to a move back to the Camp Nou.

According to Diario Gol, Lionel Messi disapproves of the transfer, as he feels the club is going ahead with the transfer due to the low buy-back involved, instead of sporting reasons.

The Argentine talisman believes that the club is trying to emulate Real Madrid and feels that we should pursue players who fit the team, and are some of the best players in the world.

While it is possible that Barçelona are merely looking to make a profit, the news revolving Deulofeu's conditions to rejoin from Everton should put a damper on any potential move.

Deulofeu has made 12 appearances in Serie A, scoring 2 goals and making 3 assists. His buy-back clause is set at €12 million.
