Lucho admits nothing but a win will do at the Bernabeu
Luis Enrique says Sunday’s El Clasico at the Bernabeu will be like a final for Barcelona as they aim for the victory that will see move them level on points with Real Madrid.
Barca have a decent record at the Bernabeu in recent years and head to the Spanish capital knowing that anything other than a win is likely to see them relinquish their title.
Lucho says his team know they have to win the game and has insisted they "will stay loyal to their style" against Zinedine Zidane’s side.
"It's special because of the moment of the season and also because it's a game against out great rival, who are top of the table," he told a press conference.
"The aim is to stay loyal to our style -- it would be ridiculous not to. Any result but a win would do us no good whatsoever."
"It's a Clasico which could decide the league, but it could also open it up again.
"It's like a final for us and we have to go out and look for the win. After the result, we'll see what it means.
"Until it's mathematically over, no team gives up -- we certainly don't -- but with the end of the season so close, it could be decisive."
Enrique also admitted he had not given up hope of fielding Neymar against Madrid, with the club having appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport over his three-game ban.
"I think what the club is doing is correct, they are defending the interests of the club and players," he added.
"So I think it is correct and logical what's being done and from a coach’s point of view I am preparing for the game for both with and without Neymar."
