The biggest game of the season is here, and you really should watch it
The La Liga title is on the line this Sunday when the biggest game in football takes place at the Santiago Bernabéu: Real Madrid and Barcelona face off in El Clásico, and we could know a lot about the team likely to finish the season as Spanish League champions.
Madrid are first, three points ahead of Barça with a game in hand, and a win on Sunday would give the Blancos a six-point lead that would become a nine-point gap if they win their extra game. Six points with six games to go is impossible to recover from, so a Clásico victory all but guarantees a title for Real. A draw isn't bad either.
For Barça, only three points matter. Playing well doesn't matter, scoring pretty goals don't matter, hard-fought draw doesn't matter. The win is all that counts, three points in the bag however it happens. That victory would put Barça equal on points with Real and would give the Catalans the psychological advantage.
Madrid can still win the title even with a loss in the Clásico, but they'd be under immense pressure and any dropped points after a Clásico defeat would be horrible and Barça could steal the title in unlikely fashion.
This is obviously a giant match, the biggest in this sport, and you cannot miss this one. At all. It'll be amazing.
