Arda Turan's first day at the Camp Nou | FC Barcelona
The new FC Barcelona signing has made his first visit to the Camp Nou since being announced as a Barça player. Arda Turan flew from Istanbul to the Catalan capital on Thursday afternoon to sign his contract with his new club. His flight touched down shortly after 5.00pm CET, and he was transferred directly from the airport to the FCB offices for the traditional photo shoot in front of the club crest.

Wearing his new kit, as yet without a number on the back, the latest arrival at FC Barcelona, Arda Turan, has made his first contact with his new supporters on the Camp Nou turf. Some 10,000 fans were in the stadium for the traditional photo shoot on the pitch. The Turk received a red carpet welcome and then delighted the crowd with a display of ball skills.

Arda Turan has sat in the FC Barcelona pressroom for the first time, where he has made it more than clear that he is absolutely thrilled to be here. "People who have known me since I was a kid know that I have always wanted to form part of this team" he said on Friday morning, already proudly dressed in a polo shirt with the Barça crest on it. "I’ll be playing to a new system here. But I think I’ll be able to adapt. It’s won’t be easy but I’m hoping that the transition will go well."

FC Barcelona B to start work on Monday 13 July | FC Barcelona
Barça B return to work on Monday July 13, and will take their medicals on Tuesday before starting training the day after. Later in the week, and until Saturday 25, they will be at Torremirona, in Navata. On Tuesday 21 July they play L’Escala in their first preseason friendly, and then on the 25th they will play another against an opponent that has yet to be confirmed.
