Andrés Iniesta on United States Tour: "We have to be positive"

Barcelona's tour around the United States is over. It was a good preparation, and the three games were against competitive teams. The last one, a draw against Chelsea, was the best performance by the Blaugrana in the preseason so far, and it's an exciting sign of what's to come for Barça, especially once the South American players join the squad.

Andrés Iniesta, the Blaugrana skipper, spoke after the Chelsea game to sum up his thoughts on the U.S. portion of the preseason, and while the results might not have been the best, the midfielder seemed confident that the tour was a positive things for the group as they prepare for a busy August.

Here's a few quotes from his post-match interview:

"There are positive things and others to improve, like at the start of every season. We are still trying to prepare ourselves as best we can through training sessions and matches and, beyond results, I think we have to be positive. Once home, we will keep preparing for what’s coming, which is important.

"The worst news was the injury to Douglas, it’s a difficult time because he was playing and so we hope he can come back quickly and well.

"We have been training 20 days, and everything has to be speeded up because competitive matches are coming so that’s what we are doing.

"Everything is preparation, but when you are in the competitive stage, you want to come into in the best shape possible with everyone fit."
