Atletico are still hot on their heels, though
FC Barcelona Femeni stay leaders, at least for one more week, thanks to a 1-1 draw with second-place Atletico Madrid. Atletico won the league last season, with the Catalans in second place, and the two look likely to battle for the championship once again.
Andressa Alves scored the opening goal for Barcelona in the 26th minute before Kenti equalized in the 63rd minute.
Barcelona and Atletico are tied on points, 19 for both, but Barcelona are leaders thanks to a much stronger goal difference.
