La Liga is set to bring in video technology next season
La Liga’s president Juan Luis Larrea said that video technology is ready to come to La Liga at the start of the 2018-19 season.
"For next season. That is our intention.
"Technology is now coming into football and you have to accept it."

Larrea included that this technology would be tested extensively before it was rolled out league wide. Not really sure why it would need to be tested that thoroughly when it has been tested in some of the biggest leagues in the world, the Bundesliga and Serie A. You would think that the technology has been stress tested enough to make a good decision to use or not to use.
Nevertheless, this is pretty significant news. Regardless of how you feel about VAR, the news that it’s coming to La Liga was inevitable, and now a reality. Prepare yourselves La Liga fans.
