The Barcelona superstar and Argentina captain scored that incredible goal inside 10 minutes to give the Albiceleste a vital lead in their World Cup Qualifying match against Colombia on Wednesday night. Argentina absolutely need a victory after the embarrassing loss to Brazil, and Messi is making sure that will indeed happen.
Messi has gotten better and better with his free-kicks since the start of last season, and he continues to find the back of the net with those shots, for club and country. He's yet to score a FK for Barça this season, but he's still got it, that's for sure. That's a giant goal for Argentina in terms of their confidence and situation in the World Cup Qualifiers, and it's obvious that Messi would be the one scoring it.
Argentina are still in trouble, but Messi sure will try to bring them out of it. What a goal.
