Rumors: Barcelona to miss out on Seri & Semedo and Verratti & Iniesta latest

All the latest transfer gossip is right here people

Verratti refuses to discuss future

The speculation surrounding Marco Verratti and Barcelona is officially reaching fever pitch but Mundo Deportivo managed to track the in demand Italian down.

The midfielder was giving nothing away, however, when pressed about a move saying only: "I'm sorry but now I can not talk about my future.”

He was, however, quite happy to pose with the copy of MD which was running on its front page a piece on how he wants to join Barcelona. What does it all mean?

Saul becomes Barca’s Plan B

Of course should Barca fail to land Verratti they already have a Plan B in mind, and no it’s not Jean Seri, it is in fact Saul Niguez.

According to Diario Gol, Robert Fernandez is a big fan but feels he may struggle to convince the midfielder to leave Atletico Madrid.

Semedo talks not progressing well

Barca had looked favourites to sign Nelson Semedo earlier in the week but apparently current negotiations are not going well, so say Sport.

Benfica want at least €50m for the right-back but Barca have no intention of spending that much, particularly as he is not their first-choice, Bellerin remains the priority.

Mina impresses Fernandez

Robert Fernandez has been out and about to watch Yerry Mina in action during a friendly between Colombia and Cameroon in Getafe, report Marca.

The Palmeiras forward scored twice and looked to have impressed the Barca sporting director who could make a move in January, with Mina expected to cost around €9m.

Seri heading for Roma?

Another Barcelona target could be about to slip out of their grasp with Sport reporting that Jean Michael Seri is in advanced talks over a move to Roma.

Monchi is working his magic again having identified him as the Serie A side’s top target and is pushing hard, with the club set to make a second offer after having their initial bid rejected.

Juventus rule out Iniesta & Verratti

Guiseppe Marotta has ruled out a future move for Andres Iniesta and also says the club will not try to sign Marco Verratti.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Juventus feel Iniesta is "unattainable" and refuse to spend the €100m, it looks increasingly likely it will cost to land Verratti.
