La Liga is in Barcelona's hands thanks to Real Madrid's draw with Atlético Madrid

GRIEZMANN, YOU BEAUTY!!!

Antoine Griezmann is awesome. He scores a lot of a goals, he has nice hair, and he might have given Barcelona the La Liga trophy.

The Frenchman scored with five minutes to go and gave Atlético Madrid a giant point in the Capital Derby against Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabéu. Diego Simeone's men won't fight for the title, and a third-place finish is the best they can hope four, but Atleti just did Barça a huge favor.

Real Madrid are now three points ahead of Barça, and both teams have eight games left in their calendars, which includes El Clásico in two weeks. The math is REALLY simple for Barça: eight wins in eight games is enough to win La Liga.

Even though Los Blancos still have a game in hand against Celta Vigo, a Blaugrana streak of victories, including three points in the Clásico, will give them the edge even if the teams end up tied on points. The first tie-breaker in La Liga is the team's record against direct rivals, and given these two teams drew at Camp Nou earlier in the season, a win at the Bernabéu would give Barça the advantage in the Barça-Madrid mini-league.

Winning all eight remaining games, including El Clásico, is not an easy task, but if Barça want to three-peat as league champions, that's the job they have to do. The first of the eight remaining games is away from home against Málaga, one of the toughest games in the league. But Barça have a job to do.

Gracias, Atleti. Merci, Griezmann.
