Here’s some hope for Barcelona’s upcoming game against Juventus, in which they must overturn a 0-3 first leg result.
2000 UEFA Champions League Quarterfinals
The situation: Chelsea up 3-0 in the first half of the first leg
The end result: Barcelona win 6-4 on aggregate
Gianfranco Zola opened the scoring, followed by a Tore Andre Flo brace to help the Blues to a commanding 3-0 scoreline in London. Luis Figo saved the Blaugranas' blushes to make the first leg end 3-1.
At Camp Nou, Rivaldo and Figo scored in the first half, giving Barcelona the lead on away goals. But Flo scored again, swinging the tie back to Chelsea. Seven minutes from time, Dani Garcia got the goal that brought the two teams level and into extra time. Rivaldo scored his second via a penalty and Patrick Kluivert sealed the result in the 104th.
2006 UEFA Champions League Final
The situation: Arsenal a goal up with only a quarter hour left to play.
The end result: Barcelona win the Champions League with two goals fueled by substitutes.
Barcelona had a chance to win their first Champions League title, and their first prime European title since the 1992 European Cup final. Things started relatively well. A Ludovic Giuly goal was called back for an earlier foul by the keeper, Jens Lehman, over Ronaldinho. It was only a free kick, which sailed wide, so perhaps Barcelona would have preferred the goal - but Lehman was sent off, giving Barça a man advantage.
However, things took a turn, thanks to a set piece, which Sol Campbell headed past Victor Valdes to give the gunners a one-goal advantage they would attempt to ride to the trophy.
The plan proved successful until Frank Rijkaard made three key changes: Andres Iniesta in for Edmilson, Henrik Larsson in for Mark van Bommel, and Juliano Belletti in for Oleguer Presas. Iniesta started the move in which Larsson set up Samuel Eto’o’s equalizer, and then it was Larsson again assisting the most improbable of goalscorers - the right-back Belletti - to score the second and win the trophy.

The situation: AC Milan win the first leg 2-0
The end result: Barcelona win the second 4-0 and advance.
AC Milan got a shock result at home with goals from Ghanian pair Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari, and Barcelona’s obituaries were written in the press. But in the return leg, the Catalans played a perfect game, proving the doubters wrong. They were buoyed by a Lionel Messi goal in just 5 minutes which got the Camp Nou believing. He completed his brace inside 40 minutes, bringing the tie level. David Villa put Barça in front in the opening stages of the second half, but nerves still rang around as Milan simply needed one goal to knock out the Catalans on away goals. It didn’t come, and in fact, the opposite happened - Jordi Alba struck the decisive fourth goal in injury time.
2013 UEFA Champions League Round of 16
The situation: Paris Saint-Germain win the first leg 4-0. And it’s really almost two comebacks, because the worst situation was, in fact, later: Barcelona needing three goals in seven minutes.
The end result: Barcelona win 6-5 on aggregate
